派遣前訓練17日目Bafabafa

午後からいくつかのグループに分かれて、bafabafaを行った。

bafabafaとは異文化を疑似体験するためのゲーム。
二つのチームに分かれて、各グループはそれぞれ違う文化をもつ国民を演じる。

一つのチーム(α国)は陽気な国民性を持つ国民を、もう一つのチーム(β国)は陰気な国民性を持つ国民を演じる。

まず最初にルールを覚える。そして、各国の代表が何回かに分かれて違う国を訪問する。

訪問した際の感想を話し合って異文化に入ったときに何が大事かを学ぶのがこのゲームのねらい。

自分は陽気な国民性を持つ国民を演じたのだが、もともとネクラなので正直厳しかった。

その後の講義で大学教授の方からbafabafaの意義などについてあらためて説明があった。bafabafaなどをせずに普通に語学自習にしてほしいという意見が毎回出るが、そういう意見を持った人こそbafabafaの意義をくみ取ってほしい参加してほしいと説明していた。

先入観ほど異文化での活動で危険なものはないという意見は印象深かった。

We formed several groups, and we did bafabafa.

Bafabafa is a game to experiece difference culture.
Each group play a each role.

The members of one group(alpha country) plays people who
have cheerful nature.

The members of another group(beta country) plays people who
have somber nature.

At first, We learn the rule of bafabafa.
Each time different members of each country visit another country

We discussed what are important to live in differnt culture
after bafabafa.

I played cheerful person but It was hard because I am somber.

In a lecture after bafabafa,
professor told us the aim of bafabafa and the rest.
And he told us that there are some volunteers who would like to study target language instead of doing bafabafa.
but they should think about the purpose of bafabafa.

It was so impressive that we should not have prejudices when we work in different culutures.
