派遣前訓練18日目英検準一級受検
英検準一級の試験を受けに郡山まで行った。
郡山駅まで行くには、二本松駅から東北本線一本で30分程度でいける。しかし、NTCから二本松駅までが一苦労。
バスだと30分だが、一日4本ぐらいしかない。
出発しようとしたときに微妙に間に合わないことに気づき、急遽タクシーを電話で呼んで駅までいった。
運賃は4100円と依然聞いていた3000円よりも高くついた。
二本松駅についても、電車が1時間に2本程度なので、電車がくるまで待つ必要がある。ホームは寒いので待合室でまつことに。
待っているときに訓練生の人と会った。同じように仏検を受検するために仙台に行くらしい。
わざわざ新幹線のチケットまで予約していたみたいなので、自分よりもはるかに気合いが入っていると思った。
郡山駅についた後、英検会場である日本大学工学部までバスでいった。
準一級を受検する人は30人程度。TOEICとは違い、会場での席順はなく到着順に前から座っていくよう指示された。
試験は空欄補充、長文、自由英作文、リスニングの4部構成。
空欄補充で出てくる単語が難しく、またリスニングの問題形式に慣れずにあたふたしてしまったので結果はおそらく不合格だと思われる。
とはいえ、リスニング力があれば、あたふたすることもなく正答を重ねることができたはずなので自分の力不足をあらためて認識することができた。
もっと勉強するしかない。
I went to Koriyama to take the Eiken test in practical English proficiency.
It takes about 30 minutes to go to Koriyama station from Nihonmatsu station
by Touhoku-honsen line.
But it takes a lot of time to go to Nihonmatsu station from NTC.
It takes 30 minutes to go to Nihonmatsu station to NTC by bus,
but bus runs only 4 a day.
When I was about to leave NTC, I found it not to arrive the exam site
on time.
I was compelled to go to Nihonmatsu statinon by taxi.
The fare was 4100 yen.
It was more expensive than I heard.
I heard it cost 3000 yen to go the station from NTC.
In Nihonmatsu station, because train runs only 2 a hour,
I needed to wait until arriving the staion.
As it was cold, I waited in a waiting room, not in a station platform.
While I was waiting, I unexpectedly met one volunteer.
She would go to Sendai to examination of French As I did
Because she would go to Sendai by Shinkansen Express,
I thought she was eager than I.
After I arrived at Koriyama, I went to the exam site,
Nihon University, by bus.
There were about 30 people who took grade pre-1.
In TOEIC there is the order of seat,
but I was ordered to sit from the front in turn.
The examinations had 4 parts.
4 parts are "compliting blank", "long passage", "writing", "listening"
The vocaburaries in the test were very dificult.
And I couldn't adjust the form of listening questions
thus I thought I failed the exam.
But if I could have listened to English well,
I could answerd questions more correctly.
I found that I needed to make more effort.
I must study English more and more!
