派遣前訓練22日目所外活動前日

特に主だったイベントはない日だった。

所外活動前日だったので農家に行く人はNTCの地下倉庫で長靴などの物品を借りる必要があった。しかしながら、知的障害者更生施設に行く予定なので関係がなかった。

同じ施設に行くメンバーに諸注意を伝えようと思ったが、掲示板に書かれていたことだったので特に何もしなかった。

さらに言うと、自分が分かっていることをわざわざ人から言われるのは腹がたつだろうし、大人だと思ったから。

しかしながら、自分が見てきた大人とは違う大人がいるのが青年海外協力隊の隊員候補生の特徴

いわゆるオフィスワーカーが少ない環境。途上国で必要とされる職種の関係上、医療関係や教育関係の人が多い。

髭や洗髪はそこそこ見てきたが、着こなし方には本当にびっくりさせられる。

ブレザーとYシャツ、ネクタイをしているのにカジュアルなパンツを合わたり、Yシャツの下に透けて見える色Tシャツや柄Tシャツを着たりと信じられない着こなしをしてくる。

サラリーマン生活の中でなんだかんだで保守的になっている自分を見つけることができたのもこの訓練所に来た一つの成果だとしたい。

Today, there was no special event.

Today was the day before the outdoor activity,
so volunteers who would go to farmers needed to borrow rubber boots.

But I would go to a facility for the mentally retarded.
I needed to borrow nothing.

Though I would have told volunteers who would go to same place reminders
reminders were already noticed, so I did not tell them.

Other reasons were that it was unpleasant to hear obvious things
and they were not children.

However, in JOCV there are many adults who I haven't ever seen.

Relatively there are not many office workers in JOCV.
There are many medical experts and educational personells,
because developing countries request them.

Though I had ever seen office workers who wore beard or had tinted-hair,
If volunteers wore beard and so on, I was not so surprised.

But some volunteers' dressing suprised me.

They put on blazer, white shirts and tie, but wore casual pants.
They put on colored T-shirt, printed T-shirt under white shirt.

I felt their dressing very strange.

I find that my experience as an office worker made me conservative
I think it is one result to go this training center.
