派遣前訓練37日目ネイティブとの会話

OV Day 2日目。

語学はなく、OVを招いてグループワークと活動座談会を行った。

午前中はグループワーク。正直3時間もいらなかったと思う。OVは18-2が中心。彼らは20-4よりもキャラが濃い。

ずけずけと初対面の人に他の人に話を振ってくるのが、うざいを通り越してすごいと思った。

訓練所に入る前にイメージしていた協力隊員のイメージに近い。

午後は職種ごとの座談会。

あらかじめ用意したスケジュールを超えて、OVが自分の活動体験談を話したのでこちらが用意した質問をすべてこなすことが出来なかった。

午前中のグループワークから自分勝手な人が多いと思ったが、答えられなかった質問についてはあとでメールで返信してくれるとのこと。誤解していてすいません。

夕方は訓練生同士で飲みに行った。訓練背の一人はスコットランド人とのハーフ。

彼は英語ネイティブなのでNTCで英語ができる人はどれくらいいるのかという質問をしたら、そんなにいないとのこと。

彼も言っていたように、語学にもいろいろな能力がある中で自分が必要とするスキル(ライティングや会話)を限りある時間の中で、いかに伸ばしていくかが大事だと思う。

This was the second day of OV day.

We had no language lessons and
did group work and meeting for each professionals.

I felt 3 hours of group work too long.
Most of the old volunteers who came NTC are 18-2nd.
18-2nd volunteers were more unique than 20-4th volunteers.

They talked to someone new bluntly.
I felt them good rather powerful than bad.

They were like I imagined before I began training in NTC.

In the after noon, we participated the meeting which was held by per-technical-field.
Old volunteers talked longer than we planned.
So we didn't finished questions we made in advance.

I thought they were selfish but
they would send a mail about questions which they couldn't answer.
I apologize for thinking them selfish.

In the night, I drunk with other volunteers to Dake-onsen.

One of them, who mother is Scottish is a native English speaker.
I asked him how many volunteer were good at English
and he answered there were a few good speaker in NTC.

As he said, to learn a foreign language, we need to study many things.
Though we don't have much time to study target language,
It is important that we enhance skills we will need
when we work as volunteers in foreign countries.
